This is the largest of the Dodecanese Islands with miles of pristine beaches, rich green interiors of wooded valleys, a fascinating medieval old town and the distinction of being one of the oldest tourist destinations in Greece due to the megalithic Colossus.

Live the dream...

Lose yourself wandering the cobbled streets of the atmospheric Old Town, contained within a double ring of high walls and a deep moat you can explore. Enter the mighty town gates to walk around the Knight’s Quarter and then chance upon the ruins of the Temple of Aphrodite dating back to 3rd Century BC.

Hop across the bay from Rhodes to the enchanting car-free streets of Lindos with its dazzling white buildings reflecting a blend of ancient architecture, Byzantine and Gothic design. Make your way to the top of the island to admire the pillars and porticos of the world-famous Lindos Acropolis before wending back down to the sandy shores and clear waters of the magical St Paul’s Bay.
